Sinuhe Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Sinuhe

Sinuhe

Once I read
-don't know when
-neither know of the where

Read of the pharaoh's tongue
-of old days

A word was repeated many times
-for showing its value
-beauty, beauty, beauty
-meant times of beauty
-four of course less than five
-and five was five times one

Nefertiti
-in that book
-was used as example

I have read Gilgamesh
-also read Sinuhe
-Abraham to Moses
-Mohammad and Jesus,

But somehow
-the myths now act as scent
-in thoughts, mind, penetrate

Want to shout
-search for words
-nastiest, ugliest, dirtiest
-vagina and penis, all mid parts
-to whore, pig, female dog
-to the pimp and the john
-wonder if can find worse
-need to shout
-must shout loud
-be thunder, break walls:
- "You bastards…"
-but collapse when hear:
- "Standards have long changed! ! ! "
- "Being bastard is no shame! ! ! "
