Simple Target Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Simple Target

It is mere prey
Falling to their way
Loosing life for simple
Night brings in trouble

Cunning fox
Is out of box
Goes in for hunt
In search of food with attack blunt

Many animals sleep carefree
In confided area or under trees
There is no protector
Only sky above and creator

Well, fox is lucky
The food is just before and ready
With little try and courage
The meal is managed

Day is spent with sleep
With no more worries to keep
The night may again pave the way for search
Till the ignorant target is within reach
