Silly Girl Poem by Kayla Clark

Silly Girl

Rating: 3.0

Silly girl
You already know this
You can laugh and twirl
But he wont notice

You try so hard
It's never enough
Your heart a shard
A broken diamond in the rough

Silly girl
You thought he cared
Up you curl
A love unshared

It's ok to cry
You tell yourself
And wonder why
Your love is on the shelf

Silly girl
He loves her, not you
A lovely pearl
Lucky too

You cry for love lost
You cry out of envy
Two paths crost
Beautiful but deadly

Silly girl
You'll just have to accept
That he loves another
And that's why she wept
