Silent Goodbye Poem by Alone Soul

Silent Goodbye

Rating: 5.0

Tell my mother to hold on
tell my father to be strong
it'll be rough ahead
for now that I'll be gone

Yes I cried before I left
yea I cried because of pain
not the pains from the wound
pain of thoughts I'll miss you

So hold me
let me touch you before I leave
Love me
let me feel you before I creep
Be me
let me tell you how I feel
as I lay down and fall asleep

I waited till my last breath
I waited till the dawn break
but now I'll have to leave
they're here for me to take

I see the lights down the tunnel
I see its getting closer
wish I had some more time
God I wish I had lived longer

So hold me
let me touch you before I leave
Love me
let me feel you before I creep
Be me
let me tell you how I feel
as I lay down and fall asleep
