Show Of Strength Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Show Of Strength

Show of strength

When was peace on earth?
It was marred by deaths
More invasions and annexations
Subjugation faced by weak nations

Human being was never satisfied
The peace was falsified
More troops were poured in
It resulted in more wins

The peace shall never return
It will be worst turn
Weapons of mass destruction shall be sold
World will be lied and told

Mighty may survive
Weak may be forced to live
With whatever it has
It shall be worst phase

So drag on
The thumb is shown
Peace is an illusion
You may be afraid with fake liaison

We are sitting on volcano
It may erupt and go
Spread and grip all over
It shall be show of strength and power

Show Of Strength
COMMENTS OF THE POEM

Radhey Shyam Varshney Thanks dear Hasmukh Mehta for your poetic observation. But to me Peace is not illusion, though life on earth itself is full of delusion. A ray of hope is in sight as Heads of Nations are visiting each other's people and nation, echoing their voice against Terror and warlike violence. Let us pray sanity may prevail, divinity to take over devilish Apprehensions. Mean while as you wish..... Unlike · Reply · 1 · 8 mins
