Shopping Blues Poem by chichichapatile mangochi

Shopping Blues

A shopper walks into the shop
passes the security guard cocksure
entrance and entranced
at exorbitant price tags
in this miasmal times
one becomes a wog
in every shop
price tags umbrages
shoppers who think of
purloining
polyglot of prices of commodities
and genuflect to dissolve
price tags and hedonism.
