She Went Silent Poem by Manonton Dalan

She Went Silent

Rating: 5.0

New geese are not around today
grass is newly cut i can smell
trees has full foliage pretty
i enjoy shade from bright sun
i share with mosquitoes; bite
i squashed some of them on me

hear ball's strike coming my way
confident none would land on me
leaves are so thick, branches big
they have grown from tiny stick
same so quiet where i spend time
now sky is empty no signal to come
