your promises were eden
a blissful place in heaven
my arms outstretched welcomed all of you
I had finally found the one,
my home in you
I gave you worth more than life
you gave me a pile of lies
you made me dive
alone to the cruel mysteries of love, unrequited
I gave you my heart as my wife
you broke my brittle heart into halves...
