She Is The Mountain, He Is The Wind Poem by Nyx C Styx

She Is The Mountain, He Is The Wind

Rating: 5.0

The mountain stands
firm and affirming
unmoved by the moving wind
unaware of the grain
he chisels off her
day by day

The mountain is now a mound
she stands fixed to the fixed ground
unmoved by the moving wind
unaware of the grain
he chisels off her
day by day

The mound is now a hill
less proud then the mound
but proud still
unmoved by the moving wind

This flattened earth
salt, rubble and sand
Moved by the moving wind
Hear him Sing!
Hear him Sing!
as he carries her higher
upon his wing!
