Shadows Of Children - Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Shadows of children walking through my mind, eyes vacant, staring, being compromised by adults hiding beyond the shadows.
Tumultuous environments clinging, suffocating the life of a child through desires of an unfit parent.

Poet's Notes about The Poem

Used to work in child abuse center at Rutgers University in the 70's.
