Senryu- Time
As granules of sand,
Funneled into deeper chasms
Time moves....fizzling out!
A great senryu about a theme that makes people stressed.The passing of time.
A senryu that makes an old man sad, here comes the hope, hope of another life after death. Well, let this hope be a faith and face death smiling.
Time moves with fizzling like granules of sand funneled into deeper chasms. Wonderful imaginary. Beautiful senryu. Thanks.
An hourglass came immediately to my mind, doing exactly as you put it; as time fizzled out. I wonder if they are still being used? Thanks Valsa.
