Send Off The Plague Poem by Bing Hua

Send Off The Plague

Send Off the Plague

By Bing Hua
Translated by Joseph Spring

The epidemic like a gust of wind
Sweeps the world.
This tiny virus
Imprisons people all over the world.

Princes or presidents
Or common people
Men and women
Young and old
All wear the "novel corona".

The epidemic
Has no national boundary
The global village
Has no hatred
But love.

The epidemic
Like a demon mirror
Makes angels and demons
Show their true appearances

Tens of thousands of health care workers across the States
Rush to aid New York
The medical angels volunteer to
Spread their wings
Flying there
Against the wind.

The reflected brilliance of the great love of the world
Makes the Plague be in awe
And fly away.
Let's just send off the Plague together!
