Saying Good-Bye To The New Year Eve Poem by Bing Hua

Saying Good-Bye To The New Year Eve

Saying Good-bye to the New Year Eve

By Rose Lu

Fireworks scorched the night sky
At the saddest moment of the world
You said good-bye and took off once again

You had bestowed me love
But now were gone
Like a gust of wind leaving no trace

One tide
After another
Weeping in songs
That mesmerized the audience
But you had already switched the ' channel '

One vernal wave
After another
Sighing in front of the screen
The streets were filled with gossips
But you had already turned off the phone

You grabbed my poetic mood
With the hooklike moon
But were as intangible as the moonlight

The rain
Soaked my cuirass
While my skirt
Swayed in the wind

Snow
Froze my scarf
And my dress
In the years with your presence
Collecting all the glories

Intimacy pulling apart
Gaining reproducing losing
The precious pearls
Are hard to gather back

The frosty past
The aged beauty
Only the memory
Is as fresh as the green leaves

Soon we will split
But I really can't bear
Another parting in another year
