POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM

Semper Fi is short for Semper Fidelis. This the motto the US Marines Corps. In latin it means, 'Always Faithful.' As a Marine, we vowed to always faithful to the Lord our God, and our family and country.

I am glad to be able to stand strong for my life. Even after 22 yrs of service I am now tired, but i still stand strong if needed.
