Secularism My Foot Poem by Abdulmajeed Soladoye

Secularism My Foot

Drooling as my mouth was open agape.
Watching modesty being violated in rape.
And brandishing this sinful act in tape.
We live in a modern world we say,
But acts are better credited to ape.
When we take religion out of the way
Our faith in God automatically sway.
Secularism my foot!
As if on corruption it has any tooth.
When the messages and the word of the Lord is being misused,
Little wonder we are physically and spiritually abused.
Religious differences breeds no animosity,
And true unity cannot be achieved without sanctity.
Few know what their religion really teach,
'Coz to their holy book they hardly reach.
In spiritual knowledge we are all lost,
'Coz in worldly gain is our lust.
We all have to go back to our lord,
And that's our ultimate drawing board.
Now tell me what your religion truly teach,
And a solution you will surely reach.
