Hope



Lurking around in thin air
Hope, I caught with a stare
Dazzled enough that I couldn't share
The figment I know I shouldn't spare
My heart heavy and eyes full of tear
When people we trust refuse to hold us dear

when the fog begins to clear
May be I can let go of the snare.
