Schizophrenia Poem by Hardik Vaidya

Schizophrenia

No I refuse to bow down to the dictum of your determined
Yet undermining self discomposure.
Killing away the you and withering into oblivion.
I shall not bend my knees seeking mercy from The Lord,
Nor shall I prostate in front of the psychiatrist
Begging for remedy, and a silly pill lift.
Right it is, it is my right
And not your prerogative to allow me to waste
I shall wage the war from this end of the universe
To the ends unknown
Till you back off,
Leaving me to my own considered free self.
My father my mother
My cousins my all
Shall be warriors in strength with me,
By my side, relentless
Because I am destined to win.
Win back my right,
Freedom of rational subsistence.
