Say What's Real Poem by Khaleel Steir

Say What's Real

Rating: 5.0

Why does it seem like you're holding back what you really want to say?
Remove your hands from your mouth and speak up
Don't hold back the truth, it needs to be heard
Stop shackling it up in your mind and telling them what they want to hear
That sugar coated mess will only give them cavities and false pride
Bad things happen only because good men stand by and do nothing
So say what's real and let the truth run loose
Freedom of speech is your weapon and it's time to unsheathe it.
