Saint With The Tiger Poem by Mubeen Sadhika

Saint With The Tiger

Rating: 4.8

prey for wish
serene in power
craving for food
malady still tormenting enough
to provoke the pietism
victim's taste implored
pleas on grief
hunter and the hunted
to achieve the angelic spirit
not certainly causing belief
hesitant to battle the trust
tentative in faith
self-imposing calm
ascetic soul
pleading body
hunger determines isolation
scarlet pimpernel flowers could feed
dandelions bring propitious conviction
smiling beast together on the terrain
self-restraint towards the feeble
interchanging the roles
indeterminately following the steps to get purified
nearing the sanctity with energetic divinity
frighteningly gracious
the feline smelt the blood
conditioned to check the appetite
monk felt the yearn
panicking characteristic
exhibiting the spectacle no longer adequate
glory in holiness breaks in unsure predilection
the same habitation became hostile
when liability breached the limit
total renunciation of non-self to become impermanent
nobility reminding the sublime
sacrament would be due in benevolence
