Saadi Said Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Saadi Said

Saadi said

The ones born in Iran,
As Natives, Aboriginals,
Are aware of US, Canada,
And the South America,
Australia, Africa…

In schools and at home
We grew with poems
That amused, also taught.

We sense the feeling of
Those preyed, hunted, locked
In "Reserves, " like cells, pens…

One poem of many
Is Saadi's, in UN:
"Each of us is member
Of same jewel, treasure,
Whenever one has pain
Rest of parts feel the hurt,
If you, by any chance,
Do not share the same pain,
You are not human."

Thank you, Christy
For writing about her.

Yes, we are one body
Therefore, feel the anger
Of Abbotsford-Mother,
A Cree, by her birth.

We raise voice, support her
For being lioness…

No, never, an honest
And aware, kind person
Is able, capable
Of writing good and well
About the schools, where
Destroyed and tortured!
