Running From Nothing Poem by Jon ProskeyVigil

Running From Nothing

Rating: 5.0

Dangerous and creepy;
Always mystery is around, lurking behind every tree.
Reality seems to drift away and your imagination runs wild.
Knowing nothing is there, yet it seems so real.
Anguish Pierces your heart because you fear for the worst.
The shadows begin to creep in towards you,
Nothingness all around. You begin to run from nothing.
Inside your head imaginary footsteps chasing after you.
Gray figures run across your eyes,
Heaving chests and long sharp fangs.
Then you wake up in your bed the next morning scared stiff.
