Ruining Desert Visions Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Girders standing erect, pointing skyward,
ruining visions of a desert that used to
be there.

Nothing left now except scattered dirt,
blowing around the ugly beginnings of
another developer's inane idea.
