Riding A Cloud Poem by Eric The Viking

Riding A Cloud

I once had the pleasure of riding a cloud
Seeing the spectacle of differing towns
Streaming across the streams and lakes
Causing the fields of grass to shake
Listening to the differing sounds
The ground would rumble from life abound

Watching the will of the determined and great
Their fire that burns is so innate
Those at play with no concept of time
The daring looking for a mountain to climb
When the misunderstood, understood just fine

I know I’m asleep and now I must wake
A dreams no dream when you believe in fate
And though my world is not one to astound
I still have my dream of riding a cloud
