Return Receipt Poem by Randy McClave

Return Receipt

If Adam could only see woman now
And see how they all became,
And the things and acts that they happily allow
While seeking pity and not knowing of any shame.
The way that they now dress
And not wanting to care for anyone or anything at all,
While seemingly to just only wanting to impress
And being happy when a friend tumbles and fall.
Always ready to judge some other
And always wanting to be put first
Many times not happy being a wife and a mother
And sometimes seemingly by God cursed.
Using their bodies to use and control
Also using their looks to manipulate,
Then they take over the man's very soul
And now her wants and desires becomes his fate.
Now some will now call her a mister
As she tells man what to say or do,
Sometimes I believe that woman is the Devil's sister
Her acts and desires are the clue.
She holds grudges until the day that she dies
With a vengeance she is always prepared to attack,
She now controls man whenever she cries
I now wonder if Adam would want his rib back.
