Red Hot Teenage Daughter Poem by Alexander Foald

Red Hot Teenage Daughter

Rating: 5.0

Light blue sky, red hot teenage daughter
Came to my father, bring me some fruitcakes
Up on the bed, she was crying all over the place
I thought she was lying, so why did I just sit and listen?

O pretty star in the sky, your beauty caught me off guard
My baby left me around, where the sound kept me sing alone
Sometimes life is strange, but only on that way so we can live
Wanting to say the truth, but now I keep lying to myself

I can feel the color, that light up in your eyes
No matter how hard you try, you could never hide
Seems like as heart goes frozen, I will be able to realize
This love can stand that long, only waiting for your arm
