Regrets Of A Dying Man Poem by Alexander Foald

Regrets Of A Dying Man

Rating: 5.0

I want to walk again
Under the same sun I left alone
Need to breathe the same way
When I used to live a good life

I want to love again
Meet the woman I left yesterday
Maybe she won’t forgive me easily
But life is hard; so I only have to try

I want to sing again
The same song I left to die
One can make such a good fortune
So why can’t I make my own?

I want to make things right again
The same way I left to rot in memory
If only I can bend time backward
I would rather live without ever regretting
