Last night on my bed
Just before I fall into sleep
Something reminded me of you
Someone who crossed my heart for another

I took the guitar and sing a song
My fingers ran on the frets and the melody burned
Up to my head, right in the middle of the night
As my heart turned back on everything we ever had

I found that I still miss you
The scar felt hurt, but I can get through
When the night kept singing the song I break
My eyes dropp the tears I tried to hold

Goodbye, my lover
It’s been a long time after you’ve gone
One moment can take everything away
But you remain here, now and forever
