Re-Arrival Poem by C. K. Young

Re-Arrival

I've been waiting
No one to talk to, but myself
No joy. no happiness
No self-wealth

Without you here
Life is empty, plain
A lonely existence
And a heart full of pain

But I love you so much
So you're worth the wait
I hope when you return
We can have our first date

I've given you my heart
Knowing you'd accept it
I hope we stay together
I hope you don't break it

For I once more
May turn suicidal
But for now I wait
For your re-arrival
