Rays Of You Poem by Natasha Hochar

Rays Of You

The fortress stands strong tonight in Zion
And the black sky ascends to slowly touch its defeat
The galaxy lingers above, and glitters with Orion
And the sea crumbles willingly at Love's feet

I had hoped in his eyes I'd again see my reflection
For ages I've dreamed of this long awaited embrace
And tonight I've drowned in immortal affection
We've once again travelled to outer space

Clocks have fallen out of existence
The past and future have lost their relevance
Forever I've loved you, though now from a distance
And that distance had gone for what seemed like instants

The fortress is caressed by the rising sun
Zion is illluminated by a sacred reality
My Number Zero we are forever One
Bonded eternally by emotional mutuality

The dawn breaks a day closer to infinity
And the roses are rinsed by drops of dew
Today is new and I'm dressed with divinity
And the morning shines with rays of you.
