A ray of light
Flashes so bright unto my eyes
I scream in delight
This must be the light
I search for my whole life
I feel my world is bright
But my feet halt, I
Shut my eyes
For the ray takes over my sight
I become blind to the bright light
And wander blindly in the DARK
NIGHT
On me, people see light
They follow while I be the guide
The blind leads the blind
My own path, I can't even find
How do I lead them aright?
When in my eyes I have a ray
That flashes so bright but leads astray
