POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM

We need strict federal laws to convict sexual assaulters. These laws need to be uniformly applied, not subject to state interpretations or archaic state laws.

Sentenced to 6 months-out in 2...it's a travesty; One consolation - he will have to live with the stigma of being a Registered Sex Offender for the rest of his natural life. Money will not remove that.

The laws will always be subject to Money, not to mention subjective biases. How can so many supreme court decisions be 5-4? No agreement on what should be definitive.
