Raindrops Dancing Poem by Anand Vijaykumar

Raindrops Dancing

Rating: 5.0

Rainbow smudged
On butterfly wings,
The fancy chariot
This mind loves to ride,
When windows are closed
Cloudy mist glazed on either side.

Outside, the raindrops dance
On golden leaves,
Glistening, trilling, tumbling
On dry brittle thorns,
Teasing the parched earth,
In that ache, a song is born.

The rains will come
Green the earth,
In that mirth
The kids will dance,
Holding raindrops
Catching the rainbow in their arms!
