unknown to me
your love seeped over me
and overwhelmed me
colouring me in its overpowering hue
and now I can't live without you.

Your love has in fair measure
the fragrant breath of fresh air
the soothing caress of a cool breeze
the tranquil respite of somnolent
moonlight
the energising delight of bright sunlight
the velvet touch of a ruby rose
the sheen of water that like diamond glows
the refreshing innocence of a child
the lush magnificence of a forest wild
the desire of the moth for the light
an ardency spilling froth
with foaming passion alight

Your love is now my anchor
that gives me sustenance
and makes me enjoy life without rancour.

It sustains me totally
and blesses me with surety
giving me courage to face life positively
and providing me enduring security
I find my harbouring anchorage
in this security of surety.
