Radios Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Radios

Radios

What to do when in cage of a car?
Driving road to road?
Door to door?

As eyes work for passage
Ears feed the brain
Music, radio!

I hear some listen to same tape
Or same songs or cassettes.

To me this is same food
Eating it repeated to vomit.

I chose the radio
Voices change
And matters!

But do they?
I suspect!

Commercial radios enslave
Advertise the nonsense
Brainwash with sick air:
'They still do not talk; what a shame! '
'She has changed boyfriend! '
'Were seen kiss in open! '

Today of this actor!
Tomorrow of singer!
Or of food what to wear!

At the end:
To be him
To be her
Must behave the same way
Must purchase same items
From there…this address!

Stop these radios
Repeating the same shit.
