Questions. Poem by dave lessard

Questions.

Rating: 4.8

Who made this beating heart
and gave birth to its soul?
who created earth and sky
and boldly made them whole?

Who painted sunrise at dawn
or sunset at the end of day?
who caused the sun and moon
to shine in its special way?

Who made flowers so diverse
and caused all them to bloom?
filling all the air we breathe
with it's lovely strong perfume?

Who made each one of us unique
white, black, red and yellow?
causing us to learn and speak
in a voice both loud or mellow?

Who made this throbbing heart
to know both love and sorrow?
that lives for the present day
resting in the hope of one tomorrow.
