Purgatory
Purgatory
On the boards and on walls
-signs mentioned the price…
A tree, root, trunk
-still laid on one side
-covered in fresh moss.
Could see the worms crawl
-in sort of Purgatory, confused,
-not knowing what went on!
Land, bulldozed, uprooted the tree
-everywhere bricks and concrete
-for condos; would be built
-their prices on signs…
