Promise me that you will be mine
that I can leave these cold and lonely nights behind.
That this empty bed won't feel quite so empty anymore.
That this room will hear the sounds of love, and laughter, again.
Promise me that you will love me
for all my insecurities and failings
there is a person inside begging to be set free again.
The one that will promise to love you unconditionally,
and wants to be by your side when you need him always.
One that will lift you up when you fall
one that will protect you from the night
one you will see smiling at you in the morning
and the one holding you at night
one that wants to just be there for you.
as long as you promise me all this
I promise I will do all this for you...
