out of late-night trips
To the grocery store.

That mindlessly reaches over
For your hand while we drive

That can't fall asleep
Without hearing your sleepy goodnight

That brightens your day
And motivates you to do better
I want to be the one
That makes the stars seem
To shine a little brighter
