Look To The Stars Poem by Jeffrey Clark

Wait until twilight, when the most beautiful stars start to appear.
They are the ones that are finding their way to you,
blazing bright, just like you do.
Look at them…I mean, REALLY look at them,
and see how they find their way to you,
almost like they are trying to speak to you,
to tell you to look closer, and see what is also coming,
that they are not alone,
that there are even more brilliant ones coming soon,
ones that will take your breath away.
Ones that will tell you that they are always there,
always have been and always will be.
They will tell you how they watch you as you sleep,
even though you do not know it
because you are chasing your dreams.
The stars know what those dreams are,
as they are the ones that started it all…
giving you hope, giving you your purpose in life,
and most of all, telling you that they put love in your heart.
That love is what I see in you
when I look at those same stars at night.
I wish upon them, and tell them about you,
but they just smile,
because they know, after all,
that same hope, that same purpose in life,
and that exact same love, they placed in you.
So look into the stars,
and maybe,
just maybe,
you will see me….
