Presumption Aims To Declare The Absurd Poem by Cynthia Buhain-baello

Presumption Aims To Declare The Absurd

Presumption aims to declare the absurd
And likes to boast of these in vain words,
In wild, but baseless, profound discourse
Presumption goes from bad to worse.

Presumption comes with a famine of logic,
Devoid of reason, it sounds so pathetic.
It can even presume to speak to the devil -
Or to God, but in truth - it is mentally ill.

It can say the earth is a square paradise
Because Presumption cannot see with closed eyes.
It pretends to know everything, however vague.
It does not realize its own eternal plague.

Presumption stands on the pedestal of Pride,
Loud and self-centered, but hollow inside.
It is empty of truth and useless is its voice,
Like a can without nothing, it makes a lot of noise.

Hats off for presenting all the minus points a presumption carries as also for the systematic analysis of the same for drawing concrete conclusions. Thanks for sharing.10 points.
