Prayer For The Sick

Dear Father, bless the sick today
Who cannot go about their way
With stride to do that which they should
For, simply, they no longer could.

But just a touch of Your great hand
Would banish sickness and the pain
With daily strength to carry on
As brand new hope and faith is born.

Your blessed Word e'er declares
Your love to ALL—both sick and well.
And You will heal the longing soul
Be they young, middle aged or old.

For You are God, and You are love
With power to heal from above.
