Practice Never Made Me Perfect Poem by Once upon a toilet wall

Practice Never Made Me Perfect

Rating: 5.0

'Around the rock I ran, ' I said
and practiced all my R's.
'Sweeet sister Sally seems so sad',
I lisped, though I tried hard.

3 years straight in speech class
and I practiced day and night,
but my teachers all gave up on me
when I just couldn't say it right!

'Can I 'pleath' have an 'iceth' cream cone'?
I would always 'thay'.
'What the hell are you talking about! '
the ice cream man would rave! .

So now when I meet a girl I like
I already know my fate,
when I look into her eyes and say

'can I 'pleath' have a date? '
