Postcard Poem by Edwina Reizer

Postcard

Send me a postcard
so all can see what you say.
Words out in the open,
not hidden away.
For whatever you tell me
will probably be
things that don't matter
only to me.
'Cause postcards are greetings
that anyone can read.
They never are personal.
They don't fill my need.

But a postcard's better
than nothing from you,
even if your words
others can view.
