i almost forget for a fraction of a second
how i almost let myself fall for you
but i can say that i more like crashed and was shattered.
i almost forget all the reasons given by you
i forget that you said no
and then 'accidently got into a relationship'
with someone else...
i let it be but when i sit at times to ponder, think of it
i get angry, i get bruised,
but i pushed it aside once more to allow myself room to breathe
i almost fell in love with you...did you know?
it is another notch to place in that lists of why guys should not be trusted...
how my heart and my mind should be guarded most often than not...
it's easy to laugh and grin like a fool,
allow you a glimpse of who i am underneath...
so who's next?
the next one to promise,
the next one to say 'we should go for it'
the next one to think he's got me easily impressed
