Pointless Words, Aimless Thoughts Poem by Cynthia Buhain-baello

Pointless Words, Aimless Thoughts

Discoursing well beyond
What's cordial, pertinent-
Exposes there, I find
Some hidden sentiment.

There's need to push and win
To wear a mask of Pride,
And Prejudice within
Breeds ugliness inside.

When words are just so many
Surely Sin is not absent,
Even though eventually
One gets to win an argument.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
'A fool finds no pleasure in understanding
but delights in airing his own opinions.'
