Poet~tree Poem by Samantha Campbell

Poet~tree

Rating: 5.0

I am a combination
of multiple nations

But my blood line
is defined by my melanin
my Poet~Tree

A touch of him touched me
he wrote his love in poetry
so that my talent oozes
onto liquefied pages
of copious intelligence

God posed grammatical
penciled art on my heart
he penned a bittersweet
piece of poetry

My full lips
and voluptuous hips
drawn from the imagination
of my creator's tips

Ink upon his pen
filled the blank spots within

Within me
he wrote his love
in poetry

When he created me
my creation was intentional
he combined the greatest mixtures
of gold to create my soul

That's why my shine is so divine
he colored my flesh with Ink and Ivory
that's why my skin is rich, bright, and bold
he created me intentionally

Strong limbs for stability
a fertile womb for longevity
a wild passionate heart
with enough love
to saturate
the world

He made my words
penetrating
so let my fingers
run
along
your
patterns
let them melt
into your fabric

I'll
savor
in

Your God-bodied framework
wrap my limbs around your girth

I want to hear the jail break
of your hearts cage

He gave me the power
to defeat the beast
he gave me his grace
that gives me peace

He gave me life
so I could plant
my verbal seeds
to inspire more
trees to bloom

Articulate breeze
when my thoughts blow free
away they fly
on the flightless wings
of poesy

I want the space
between my words
to capture my wild hearts
message to you

He gave me strength
to walk miles through the forestry
he gave my heart the sight
to see the splendor
of nature's beauty
surrounding me

There's no place I'd rather be
than kneeling at your roots
bowing my head before you
honoring you absorbing you
Loving you

I want you to taste
into my very soul
and feel the tremors
of my ecstasy as I erupt
from the depth of my soul
that causes mind expansions
in sensory perceptions

God created me with ink
dripping love
from his
hearts
pen
