Poetry Quest Poem by Samantha Campbell

Its been hard pressed
to find some lines
which would fit
into a poetry rhyme

It seems
I've entangled
myself in a bind
a poet lost
within
a wordless
mind

Whenever
winds howl
across the mystical
waves of lore
a gathering
of thoughts
release
mysteries buried
beneath the shore
arriving within
the glitter of rainbows
from the outer edge of time
composites of stanzas flow freely
in the bellowing echoes that chime

Sometimes we lose this hollowed melody
we try to sing but no words are in key
lost in the swirls from the mist and fog
we seek a way back hoping something will jog

Shaking up memories trying to unclog in search
of reasons why one's thoughts are bogged
could it be one needs to contemplate
maybe rest take a break
from this poetry quest

I feel all
this somehow
relates to me
maybe I'm trying
to hard to be
a writer who wants
to make others feel
this deep felt passion
for words unreal

Have no pity
for my sake
this problem
I hope to eliminate
for much remains
inside my heart
a treasure of words
I wish to impart
