Pity For The Soulless Poem by Morimyth Weaver

Pity For The Soulless

Chapters in time are not endless.
The recollection is all that remains.
Endless dilations aside,
We reflect and refrain.
This white noise exposure
Has painted blizzards of souls.
And how would you plead, ooh,
As you're watching it all slip away?

So why, why, why lie?

Come clean, or in the event
That the truth should find you
With your hands tied;

Why, why, why should I
Take pity on the soulless?

Scrying eyes see through every lie.
Your blindness be lifted in truth,
And the weight of the world on you
May be lightened with time and space
Though red is the only color you see today
May it be washed clean from your face
Whenever your world tries to break.

Reflecting your misery will only feed the pain.
Reflect on yourself and grow past it.
If you want to get better, start acting like it.

So why, why, why lie?

Come clean, or in the event
That the truth should find you
With your hands tied;

Why, why, why should I
Take pity on the soulless?

Chapters in time are not endless.
The recollection is all that remains.
Endless dilations aside,
We reflect and refrain.
This white noise exposure
Has painted blizzards of souls.
And how would you plead, ooh,
As you're watching it all slip away?
