Pity For The Darkness Poem by Daniel Pace

Pity For The Darkness

I pity the darkness out there all alone.
An outcast, unwanted, with no light to be shone
Everyone always trying to escape or run away
does the darkness get lonely when no one will stay?
Always trapped with emtyness and bitter cold
Does it not deserve something beautiful to hold?
Everyone despises it and everyone gets scared
But would the darkness be so dark if someone dared to care?

Brilliant I love this one. No one ever thinks of the darkness of being lonely, great imagination. Annette
