Perspective

If God created this world
Why is there good and evil?
Why could not be only good?
To myself I sometimes ask
And go silent and fret not
For in vain the answer I look for
Good alone nor ill can be the creation
But that in blended wave life rolls on
It's one's mental projection
That something is perceived good or bad
How we take what we get
How we look at what life
Makes us to see to this and that
Relative are good and bad
For its kitten are good
The teeth of the cat
But bad for a rat
The creation creates its own
Beauty, harmony and order
For good and bad as part of the creation
Neutralizing each other
The world grows from experience
Our choices are but a preference
Nothing is good or bad
If life aligned to our preferences
We can't decide
What is good ….
And what is bad
I struggle with the paradox of hope and faith coupled with pain and sorrow. This poem highlights my confusion and that I need to stop thinking about it! !
There are certain questions for which we cannot find any logical answers.....! Better not rake our head over them and try to accept what comes! It is not within our power to change many things! To a certain extent we are helpless! Let us do that which is within our power and leave the rest! Try to see goodness in life and relish it! Many things become good or bad, depending on our perspective A great write Deepak and philosophical too!

I would like to translate this poem
To make a thing stand out as 'good, ' the opposite of good i.e. 'badness' is a prerequisite. May be, it is God's intention that we acquire positive qualities trampling under our feet those those that are negative. The subject of this poem is metaphysical and great food for thought. Nicely penned.
